Get Your Glam On, The Natural Way
It’s easy to look a little extra special on date nights without all the fuss or added chemicals. After applying your foundation for a clean palette, try these little extras to spice up your look.
Line your upper eye below the lash line with a black creamy eye pencil. (to line below the upper lash line, use your finger pull up the crease or your eye and bring your lash line up and out)
Darken the top of your upper lash line about one third across the eye, filling out your corner lashes.
Using a natural shade of shimmery eye shadow, apply with a stiff angle brush across the lid below the whole crease of the eye.
Smudge a dark brown eye shadow around the corners of the eye on the top and bottom to add a little drama.
Curl lashes and apply black mascara
Apply a bronzer two shades darker than your skin to the cheek bones extending up to the hair line and subtly blend upwards.
Apply a shimmery peachy color just on the apples of the cheeks.
Make sure lips are free of flakes by gently brushing them with a baby toothbrush and slick on some natural lip chap.
To add some color use a neutral pinky shade of lip gloss and reapply for those smooches you will get through the night!
These extras only add mere minutes to your makeup routine and go a long way to making your look a little extra special for your man.

Matters of the Heart
Keeping your heart in shape isn’t just for Valentine’s, it’s a life long commitment. Here are a few tips to keeping your heart in super condition.
Moderate exercise 4-5 times a week. What is moderate?.... Keeping your heart rate to 75% of your maximum heart rate for 30-45 minutes. Your Maximum heart rate is calculated by 220 minus your age. ex) My age is 30, so my MHR is 190. 75% of 190 is 142 beats per minute. Using a heart monitor will give you a good idea of what kind of exercise is keeping your heart rate around this level.
Having a rich and balanced diet including fruits (like berries, citrus and apples) and leafy green vegetables (like kale, spinach and broccoli), nuts, dark chocolate, tea and wine has been shown in research to lead to a healthier heart.
Keep a limit on the sugary drinks, especially if you are female. Research has shown a diet high in sugary drinks like pop leads to higher rates of heart disease.
Everyone knows smoking can lead to heart disease, but so can second hand significantly increases your risk as well.
