Your Skin is Thirsty For
Letting your body soak in natural lotion is like your skin drinking a tall glass of water. Just as it's important to hydrate your insides with chemical free water, it's also necessary to moisturize chemical free on the outside. Your skin, while an efficient barrier against the elements, also absorbs much of what you put on it.
This is especially something to keep in mind while pregnant. Increasing amounts of studies are showing a startling number of chemicals found in the umbilical cord after birth. To find out more about natural lotion for your baby check out my baby pages.
Chemicals to steer clear from in lotion are Parabens, Phthalates, Fragrances, Petroleum Products, Phenols and Nitrate Compounds. These ingredients have been linked to skin irritations, hormonal problems, allergic reactions and even cancer. As well the chemicals in many commercial lotions don't penetrate the skin to thoroughly moisturize it. Instead they just leave a film on top that is designed to feel like your skin in moist.

I Have Super Dry Skin
And Nothing Works!
Many people, especially those in Northern Climates like me, suffer from dry skin. This can lead to a number of other skin issues like increased oil production, breakouts or patchy, scaly skin. I have always been searching for the best lotion for dry skin, but nothing really ever helped....
.....until I started using what nature had to offer!
That is, essential oils and vegetable butters from nature that nourish and moisturize skin without the added chemicals. Ingredients like Aloe, Almond Oil and Vitamin E penetrate the skin and moisturize it throughout the day.
Moist skin is better at protecting itself from the elements than dry skin. This is because dry skin is prone to cracks in which bacteria can grow and multiply. Finding the best body lotion that will naturally moisturize will keep skin looking and feeling healthier.
I have tried dozens and dozens of lotions over the years and I've come across few that do the trick.
Just Naturals Natural Lotion
has made the best body lotion I've come across. It is packed full of essential oils and fatty acids (which help deal with aging skin as well).
Look at the bottle of the lotion you are currently using. It most likely lists water as the first or second ingredient. Just Naturals beats the competition by using a health packed aloe vera juice instead that aids in healing and protecting skin.
